Overview
SafeSignals LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and website visitors. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
The short version: We collect what we need to run our service and nothing more. We do not sell your data. We do not collect cardholder data from your customers. Our sensors detect wireless signals only — not financial transactions.
What we collect

- Contact information submitted via forms (name, email address, company name, phone number).
- Usage data collected via analytics (pages visited, time on site, browser type, referring URL, IP address).

- To send service notifications, product updates, and support communications.
- To send marketing communications — only with your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- To pay dealer commissions and manage the partner program.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
- To detect and prevent fraud or misuse of our platform.
What we don't collect
SafeSignals does NOT collect cardholder data, payment card numbers, or personal financial information from your customers. Our sensors monitor wireless signals in the radio frequency spectrum — not point-of-sale transactions, card numbers, or customer identities.
We also do not collect biometric data, precise geolocation of individuals, or any data from people interacting with payment terminals at your business.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data to third parties. We may share data only with:
- Google Cloud Platform — our hosting and infrastructure provider. Data is stored in the United States.
- Payment processors (Stripe or equivalent) — for billing and subscription management. Your card data goes directly to them; we never see it.
- SMS and email delivery providers — to send alert notifications on your behalf.
- Law enforcement or regulators — when required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.
- Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to the same privacy commitments.
All third-party service providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.
Data retention
- Alert and signal detection logs are retained for 24 months, then automatically deleted.
- Account and billing records are retained for the duration of your subscription plus 12 months.
- Support communications are retained for 3 years.
- Website analytics data is retained for 26 months.
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at hello@safesignals.io. We will respond within 30 days. Note that some data may be retained where required by law or legitimate business necessity (e.g., billing records for tax purposes).
Cookies
Our website uses cookies in two categories:
- Essential cookies — required for the website to function (session management, security). These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. These are optional and can be disabled via your browser settings.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not allow third-party ad networks to place cookies on our site.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@safesignals.io. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing requests.
Security
We implement industry-standard security controls on Google Cloud Platform, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256).
- Role-based access controls limiting who can access customer data.
- Regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments.
- Incident response procedures with customer notification within 72 hours of a confirmed breach affecting your data.
